Are you trying to drag a heart to the girl on the right? Hearts drops from enemies. You need to drag them with mouse. Or maybe it's a bug and the sprite hasn't changed. Have you gotten buffs or debuffs from hearts?

I never got the girl on the right to mutate like how she looks in the top image to the right. Is that screenshot from a different version?
Also, it seems a little lame for the reward for beating the game to be just three ai-generated images. Are those just temporary?
I really liked the game. It was challenging, but enjoyable with a very good gameplay loop. I'd play more levels of this for sure.
